INDIA GUIDE
iHerb shipping to India: what to check before ordering
1. Customs and duties
iHerb's current India shipping page states that shipments arriving in India are subject to a 30.98% duties-and-taxes charge, collected at checkout for customs clearance.
2. KYC requirements
iHerb states that the consignee name and shipping address must match KYC documents. It also says India customs requires KYC documents for clearance and that the consignee has 7 days, excluding Sundays, to submit the required documents after the carrier receives the shipment.
3. Delivery can vary
iHerb notes that its estimated delivery window represents the standard estimate, while air-freight delays, customs holds and other circumstances can extend delivery time.
4. Before you place the order
- Check the final checkout total rather than only the product price.
- Confirm the shipping destination and available shipping method.
- Make sure the consignee information matches your KYC documents.
- Check whether the product can legally be imported into India.
- Review the current iHerb shipping page immediately before ordering.
